Meet Sarah Yoakam, MD

Sarah Yoakam, MD

Sarah Yoakam, MD grew up in Oklahoma City. She earned her degree in Economics from Georgetown University, then worked in the healthcare division of the PR firm Burson-Marsteller, in their New York and Washington offices. When she returned to Oklahoma, she worked for Governor Frank Keating as Public Policy Specialist and Cabinet Liaison where she focused on health and human service issues for the state of Oklahoma.

Dr. Yoakam received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Her fellowship in Integrative Medicine was completed through the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil. Her Functional Medicine Fellowship was completed through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She currently owns her own medical practice in Oklahoma City.
